Bengaluru-based fabless semiconductor startup HrdWyr has successfully secured $13 million in Series A funding to accelerate the development of its AI-native chip Technology. The funding round was announced on May 12 and was led by Bengaluru-based venture capital firm Ideaspring Capital, with participation from Singularity AMC, Avatar Growth Capital, and existing investor Persistent Systems.
The company plans to deploy the newly acquired capital to advance its AI-native System-on-Chip (AISoC) product line and expand its global customer base, with a specific focus on Edge Computing APPlications. Operating as a fabless chip designer, HrdWyr specializes in creating custom Semiconductor solutions tailored for consumer electronics, electric vehicles (EVs), industrial automation, and data centers. Their technology is engineered to deliver low-latency processing and enhanced energy efficiency for AI workloads directly on the device.
In a strategic move to strengthen its market presence, HrdWyr recently announced a partnership with leading audio and wearable technology brand boAt. This collaboration marks a significant step in the startup's strategy to integrate advanced AI capabilities into mainstream consumer devices.
