Tencent ima has officially launched its new "Copilot" Agent mode, marking a strategic evolution from a conversational tool to an autonomous agent capable of executing complex tasks. Currently avAIlable via an APPlication-based rollout, this update introduces a sophisticated four-module mEMOry system designed to personalize the user experience. The system comprises: Copilot Setting (DeFining the agent's personality and style), User Profile (recording user background and preferences), long-term memory (retaining context and tasks across sessions), and Experience/Skills (allowing the agent to accumulate usage insights for improved accuracy over time). Users retain full control, with the ability to view and edit memory content directly within the settings panel.
A key innovation in this release is advanced scene awareness. Functioning as a floating window within the application, copilot automatically detects and reads content from ACTive web pages, files, knowledge bases, or notes, eliminating the need for manual file uploads. This launch is accompanied by an official Skills ecosystem; initial offerings include tools for knowledge base management, note-taking, and report generation. Furthermore, the platform supports extensibility, allowing users to load third-party skills from the SkillHub (currently hosting 35,000 options) and integrate external model APIs.
