What it does
QClaw interprets natural-language instructions sent via Wechat or QQ and executes them locally: opening and editing Excel files, generating PowerPoint slides, subMITting GitHub code, scrAPIng web content, drafting social media posts, summarizing academic papers, organizing folders, setting reminders, and more. Every Operation—from reading local files to launching browsers or office APPs—happens offline on the user’s machine. Only Lightweight instruction transmission and optional model inference use encrypted internet connections.

Who it is for
QClaw targets non-technical Chinese individuals who rely on WeChat or QQ daily and need hands-Free automation for routine digital tasks—Freelancers managing clients via chat, students organizing research, small-business owners scheduling posts, or remote workers accessing files while away from their desk. It is not intended for developers building agents, nor for enterprises needing SSO or audit trails.
How to get started
During its current invite-only beta phase, users must join an official QQ group to obtain an access code, then download the installer from claw.guanjia.qq.com. After installing, they scan a QR code to bind either WeChat (via enterprise WeChat channel) or QQ (creating up to five bots). Within 90 SEConds of binding, they can type plain-language commands like “Sum column C in my Q3 report.xlsx” or “Post this draft to Xiaohongshu”—and receive results directly in chat.
Pricing and access caveat
QClaw is fully free during its limited beta period, including all model calls and features. Tencent has not announced formal pricing tiers, but future veRSIons may introduce a freemium model with advanced capabilities behind paid upgrades. As of now, Linux support and public downloads are not available; availability may vary by region and regulatory compliance. Users should note that functionality depends on local system permissions and installed software (e.g., Microsoft Office or Chrome).
