NJ Deputy Attorney General Arrested Over AI-Generated CSAM

Bucks County Detectives arrested New Jersey deputy attorney general Brian Richard Fitzgerald on felony charges related to AI-generated child sexual abuse material. Officials allege the 51-year-old used AI to turn photos of real minors from social media into sexualized images and distributed them. The case follows earlier US enforcement actions, including a DOJ clarification that AI-generated CSAM is still treated as CSAM.
