Thirty second cinematic realism fantasy action clip, one continuous handheld take, storm lit and grounded, shot like anamorphic 35mm.
SUBJECT: Iris - mid-thirties, dark auburn hair wind torn loose to the jaw, skin damp with sea spray. Wardrobe: charcoal long sleeve thermal, dark grey leggings, mud stained trainers. She carries Bram, a heavy silver grey Maine Coon cat with tufted ears and green eyes.
SETTING: a slate escarpment above a grey fjord, late dusk, low cloud, wet moss and black shale, sea breaking far below, constant hard wind.
STYLE: desaturated blue-grey grade, one ember-warm accent, wet stone specular, fine 35mm grain, shallow depth, natural overcast key.
CAMERA: one unbroken handheld take, operator on the ledge, reactive whip-pans, no cuts.
0-3s Empty windswept ledge, low wide. Cloud drags across the fjord. A dark shape tears out of the cloud deck. Camera tilts up to follow it. <wind roar, distant surf>
3-5s Iris slams onto the shale, curled tight around Bram. Camera flinches down with the impact. <body impact on wet rock, stone crack>
5-8s She skids through moss and gravel, one arm caging the cat, stops in a crouch, chest heaving. Camera recovers and pushes in. <gravel skitter, ragged breath>
8-12s Profile two-shot. Iris lifts Bram to eye level, hair lashing her face, and studies him. Slow push to a tight profile. Iris says, low and breathless: {We are not done. Stay with me.} <wind, cat chirrup>
12-16s She sets him down and opens her palm. A thread of dark smoke coils into a small ember above her hand. Camera pushes past her shoulder onto the closing fist. <low sub-bass hum, cloth snap>
16-19s Snap-wide. Iris drops to one knee, Bram pressed to her side. Charcoal smoke bursts outward at ground level, orange embers scattering across the moss. Camera pulls back. <concussive whump, fire crackle>
19-23s The smoke tears away in the wind. Iris now wears an oxidised bronze and slate plated flight harness, and enormous storm-grey wings with pale primaries unfurl and lock open behind her. Bram is gone; a snow-grey lynx stands where he was. Camera holds centred. <feather snap, deep exhale>
23-27s Iris walks straight at the lens, wings spread past the frame edges, the lynx padding at her hip, shards of slate lifting off the ground around them. Slow track back. <stone grinding, rising wind>
27-30s She crouches and launches. A wingtip sweeps across the lens, the camera whips up into cloud, debris streaking past, then settles back on the ledge. <wingbeat boom, wind blast>
AUDIO: diegetic only - hard coastal wind, breaking sea, gravel, cloth, fire, wingbeats. Dialogue language: English. No music. No subtitles.
Last frame: the empty slate ledge in low wide, ash and grit still falling through frame, cloud closing over the fjord. No on-screen text, no captions, no logo, no watermark.
