Best known for its family of AI models called claude, Anthropic has been racing to keep pace with OpenAI since ChatGPT launched in late 2022. Earlier this month, the company released Claude Opus 4.7, which it described as its best Generally available model. Just days prior, however, Anthropic drew significant Wall Street attention with the unveiling of Claude Mythos Preview, a model featuring advanced cybersecurity capabilities that is currently available only to a select group of companies.
