The camera zooms in on the pupil, and while that’s happening the pupil opens up wider. Then the camera flies right into the pupil, the blackness fades out smooth, spreading out to the edges like fog, and these huge Mars dunes show up. Then the camera pans left and shows this massive ultra-modern city with glass and steel skyscrapers and flying ships. Bach’s playing in the background — Orchestral Suites, BWV 1066–1069 — and it quickly turns into a drum.
