Perplexity launches its own take on AI agents for work

Perplexity has introduced 'Teammates,' always-on AI agents designed for workplace collaboration. The agents can take on multiple roles, pull from existing Perplexity projects and memory, and integrate with Perplexity Computer to complete tasks on-device. Teammates can work simultaneously on different jobs, positioning Perplexity as a competitor to OpenAI's Dots and Anthropic's Claude Duet.
